THE APPROACH
You don’t need to have the path figured out before we begin.
My sessions go beyond the physical, supporting the way you think, feel and move through life. Together, we explore beliefs, behaviors and patterns shaped over a lifetime that may no longer serve you, while discovering new ways of responding that reflect who you want to become.
My intention is to help you clarify the life you envision, recognize what may be holding you back and find practical steps toward creating it.
No two sessions are alike. Your preferences, comfort and consent shape the experience and you can ask to pause or adjust at any time.
A DIFFERENT WAY TO BEGIN
Pain, tension, exhaustion, emotional overwhelm and feeling disconnected from yourself can leave you searching for answers and sometimes feeling as though your body has become the problem. My approach begins with listening.
Your body is something to listen to.
Through somatic awareness, therapeutic touch, sound, vibration and energy practices, we create space to slow down, reconnect and explore what you notice in your body and your life.

MEETING YOU WHERE YOU ARE
Your body feels as though it is constantly holding or bracing and you’re seeking a gentler way to explore tension alongside your care for persistent pain.
You’re ready to explore how emotions and life experiences may relate to tension, holding or disconnection and create space for greater awareness and connection.
You feel tense, overstimulated or exhausted and want space to slow down when it feels as though you’re always bracing for what’s next.
You feel disconnected from yourself, your body or the world around you and long to feel more present, grounded and at home within yourself.
You’re seeking complementary support while navigating ongoing symptoms, fatigue or changes in your quality of life.
You’re drawn toward exploring the emotional, energetic and spiritual dimensions of your experience and what healing means to you.
These are invitations for personal exploration. Sessions complement your existing care and do not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions.

The crystals are chosen for the unique energetic qualities associated with them in crystal-healing traditions and are placed on, near or around the body’s chakras or meridians. Within this spiritual framework, I work with the intention of clearing energetic blockages, aligning energy flow and supporting your personal healing journey. A vibrating tuning fork can be placed against a crystal to introduce gentle vibration. I combine the crystal, sound and vibration as an invitation to connect more deeply with your physical and subtle body. Explore tuning forks and Biofield Tuning.

A LITTLE GUIDANCE

UNDERSTAND THE MODALITIES
There’s room for curiosity here. Open a subject to explore what it is, why I use it, what you may experience and what the research can tell us.
These guides distinguish established physiology, clinical findings and emerging ideas. Research on one technique or device does not prove the effects of a different session. Your experience and outcomes may vary.

Vibroacoustic therapy combines low-frequency sound with vibration delivered through a sound table or chair, often alongside music. Transducers turn an audio signal into mechanical movement you feel through the supporting surface. It brings together the experience of hearing sound and feeling vibration through contact with your body.
Physical vibration provides input to touch-sensitive receptors and the nervous system. Researchers are exploring how this sensory input may influence pain perception and brain rhythms. Feeling vibration does not by itself confirm a particular brainwave state.
I use VAT to create space for deep rest, body awareness and a sense of ease. Sound and intensity are adapted to your preferences, with room to slow down and settle at your own pace.
One of the most noticeable experiences during a vibroacoustic session can be a sense of settling and relaxation. The autonomic nervous system plays a role in how the body responds to stress and rest.
Many people arrive in a state of mild activation due to the everyday stress of modern life. Muscles may be slightly tense, breathing shallow, the mind busy.
As the body receives consistent, rhythmic vibration, you may begin to feel more at ease.
Breathing may become slower and deeper.
Muscles may release held tension.
Mental activity may quiet.
These experiences can be consistent with a relaxation response, which involves parasympathetic activity: the “rest and restore” side of the nervous system.
This transition is not forced. Instead, the body may settle naturally when the sensory environment supports relaxation. Each person’s response is individual.
VAT grew from work by pioneers including Olav Skille. Low-frequency sine-wave signals are one approach used in this field. Frequency is measured in hertz (Hz), or cycles per second; intensity, duration and device design also shape the experience.
Some clinical studies use 40 Hz. A frequency label alone does not establish an organ-specific effect or a predictable medical outcome.
Nineteen women received 23-minute sessions of 40 Hz stimulation twice weekly for five weeks. Pain-related disability, sleep and other measures improved. The study had no control group, so it cannot establish how much of the change was caused by vibration.
A small randomized study using a 40 Hz physioacoustic chair for 12 weeks reported improved motor-symptom scores in the treatment group. The findings relate to that device and schedule; they do not establish that a general wellness sound-table session treats Parkinson’s disease.
Some sleep and cognition research uses light stimulation, including the 2026 Alzheimer’s paper and the Parkinson’s insomnia trial linked below. Those methods differ from sound-table vibration, so their findings cannot be assumed to apply to VAT.
Research is encouraging but remains limited and specific to the method studied. My sessions offer complementary wellness support for comfort and relaxation.
Sound begins with vibration. A sound-based listening experience may use music, sustained tones, the voice or resonant instruments such as singing bowls, chimes and tuning forks. These sounds can become a point of attention, inviting you to pause and notice your experience.
Across cultures, music, chanting and rhythmic instruments have long accompanied ceremony, reflection and community. That history speaks to sound’s place in human life. Today, neuroscience offers another way to explore why a melody, rhythm or sustained tone can affect how we feel.
I use sound to create space for stillness, emotional awareness and a sense of connection to yourself. It offers something gentle for your attention to rest on as you slow down. For some, listening also becomes a meditative or spiritual experience: an opportunity to reconnect with your essence.
You may notice a quieter mind, a feeling of ease or a deeper awareness of your body. Sounds may also stir emotions, memories or imagery. There is no particular response you need to have. Your preferences guide the sounds, volume and pace.
The ear converts sound vibrations into electrical signals that travel along the auditory nerve to the brain. Listening to music engages networks involved in sensation, movement, memory and emotion. This helps explain why sound can feel so personal and why different people respond differently.
Research suggests that some music-based interventions may help with stress, anxiety or pain in specific settings. The type of sound, the listening context and the individual all matter. Music, singing-bowl sessions and sound-table vibration each have their own research questions.
A randomized study of 50 adults with high state anxiety compared one singing-bowl session with progressive muscle relaxation or waiting. Both active groups reported lower anxiety than the waiting group. This small study examined immediate effects in a nonclinical population; lasting benefits or treatment of an anxiety disorder were not established.
My sound sessions offer complementary wellness support for rest, reflection and connection. Research findings relate to the methods and people studied. Clinical music therapy is a separate profession with its own training and credentials.
Bodywork uses intentional touch and soft-tissue techniques. Somatic awareness adds attention to what you notice within your own experience. Pressure and pacing are adapted to your comfort.
Touch offers a direct way to explore physical tension and notice how you respond. My intention is to support comfort and a more attentive relationship with your whole being.
You may become more aware of tension, ease or an area that needs a gentler approach. You guide the pressure and can ask to adjust or stop.
Some support for specific massage approaches. Massage research suggests possible short-term relief for certain forms of neck, shoulder or back discomfort. Evidence quality varies and lasting results are less certain.
In a randomized trial of 401 adults with nonspecific chronic low-back pain, relaxation massage and structural massage produced better function and lower symptom bothersomeness than usual care at 10 weeks. The two approaches had similar results. Participants knew whether they received massage, which may influence reported outcomes; some benefits became smaller over time.
Research findings apply to the techniques and conditions studied. Somatic or fascia-focused sessions are individualized experiences; their effects cannot be assumed from a different massage protocol.
Energy healing is a broad category of modalities that work with the concept of energy fields, including the subtle bioenergy field traditionally understood to surround the physical body: the unseen aspect of a person’s energy. Within this spiritual framework, I work with the intention of channeling universal life force energy from an infinite source beyond myself.
Developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early twentieth century, Reiki is a spiritual practice traditionally described as channeling universal life force energy. Practitioners train within a lineage through an attunement process. A session may include learned hand positions, lightly on or above the clothed body, with the intention of supporting balance and well-being.
Bioenergy practices work with the concept of a subtle energy field around the body. I use focused intention and hands-off movements in a practice traditionally described as sensing, clearing and balancing energy. This offers a gentle way to explore feelings of heaviness, depletion or disconnection within a spiritual framework.
This is my personalized, intuitive blend of energetic practices. A session may weave together Reiki placements, bioenergy techniques and quiet, attentive presence, guided by your preferences and wellness goals. It can offer space to reflect during life transitions, explore emotional patterns or simply receive care.
My intention is to offer an experience that feels loving, grounding and restorative. You have time to slow down, reconnect with your essence and notice what feeling supported means to you.
You may notice warmth, tingling, a quieter mind or a sense of ease. You may also notice very little. There is no sensation you need to achieve; your experience and comfort guide the session.
People often seek Reiki when they feel overwhelmed, emotionally stretched or depleted by everyday demands. Sessions offer time for rest and self-connection. Researchers have also explored Reiki as an addition to care for stress, anxiety, depressive symptoms and occupational burnout.
A 2021 systematic review of 11 studies described a potential supportive role in mental health care and called for larger, more consistent trials. A 2022 review of 14 randomized placebo-controlled studies reported promising findings for some mental health symptoms, while judging the overall findings inconclusive because each area had few studies and most had some risk-of-bias concerns.
Caring for someone else can leave little room for your own needs. A session can be a dedicated pause to receive attention and reconnect with yourself.
A small randomized trial assigned 42 women caring for people with cancer to Reiki or sham Reiki once a week for six weeks. The Reiki group reported less caregiver strain. The findings are encouraging for this specific group and schedule; larger studies are needed to understand how broadly they apply.
Reiki is offered in some hospitals as complementary support during cancer treatment and recovery. Some studies report improvements in comfort or symptoms, but pain research has mixed findings. My sessions focus on rest and emotional support alongside your care plan. Reiki does not treat cancer or replace medical treatment, rehabilitation or mental health care.
Sham-Reiki studies use a similar session delivered by someone without Reiki training. Some trials report benefits beyond sham Reiki; others do not. Quiet surroundings, attention, expectation and optional gentle touch may contribute to the experience of relaxation. Research has not established a reliable nervous-system “reset” or a specific energy-transfer mechanism.
The energy language used in these traditions describes a spiritual framework. The proposed healing field and the ability to manipulate it to treat disease have not been scientifically established. Findings from animal or laboratory research cannot establish benefits for people.
PEMF stands for pulsed electromagnetic fields. A device produces changing magnetic fields. Pulse pattern, field strength, exposure time and device design matter; PEMF differs from the mechanical vibration you feel on a sound table.
When considering a device-based option, we begin with your goals, comfort and suitability. Ask me which device would be used, its intended use and how it would fit your session.
An electromagnetic field may not create an obvious sensation. Sensation alone cannot tell you whether a device is producing a health benefit.
Evidence is specific to the device and use. Certain medical electromagnetic devices are authorized for particular purposes. Research on pain and function has mixed findings across conditions and protocols. Findings for a prescription bone-growth device do not validate an unrelated wellness mat.
A trial randomized 66 people with knee osteoarthritis to a wearable PEMF device or placebo; 60 completed one month of use for 12 hours daily. The active group reported improved pain and some physical outcomes. This was a small, short trial of a particular device and dose, so it does not establish the effects of a brief session using different equipment.
To compare a session with research, the actual device, settings, exposure time and intended use need to be considered. Those details should be discussed before use.
Tuning forks create a sustained tone and mechanical vibration. Depending on the method, they may be sounded near you or gently applied to appropriate areas with consent. Biofield Tuning adds a framework that interprets changes in a fork’s sound as information about a person’s “biofield.”
I use the clear tones as a focus for listening, sensation and reflection. They offer another way to explore how sound feels within an attentive, personalized session.
You may notice a ringing tone, gentle contact vibration or a change in your attention. We explore your response without assigning a sound to a diagnosis or a specific past experience.

Early and limited research. The biofield interpretation and proposed field mechanism have not been scientifically established. Evidence about music or ordinary hearing does not validate the Biofield Tuning explanation.
A feasibility study enrolled 15 people with moderate or high anxiety for three weekly virtual Biofield Tuning sessions. Participants reported lower anxiety and stress. There was no control group or randomization and the sample was small, so the study cannot show that tuning caused the improvement or establish a biofield mechanism. The practice’s founder was a coauthor.
A separate 2020 study of three practitioners and 10 volunteers found low agreement about purported field perturbation locations. This does not support using the method as a reliable diagnostic tool.
Hypnosis uses focused attention, imagery and agreed suggestions. NLP, short for neuro-linguistic programming, is a collection of communication and change techniques that may involve exploring language, reframing an experience or imagining another response.
I use reflective questions and guided imagery to help you notice familiar patterns, clarify the life you envision and rehearse choices that fit your goals. You remain an active participant and can decline a suggestion or stop.
You may feel absorbed in an image or become more aware of how you describe an experience. A session is an opportunity to explore; personal change may also take practice and support over time.
Different methods with different evidence. Hypnosis research suggests that attention and suggestion can influence perception. Clinical evidence supports some specific applications, but a clinical protocol does not establish the same outcome for a general wellness session.
The IMAGINE trial randomized 354 adults with irritable bowel syndrome to six sessions of individual hypnosis, group hypnosis or educational support. At three months, about 41%, 33% and 17% respectively reported adequate relief. This supports a defined gut-directed clinical protocol, not a guarantee of behavior change or IBS treatment at this practice.
NLP has a weaker evidence base. A 2012 systematic review of 10 experimental studies found little evidence for health benefits: four of five randomized trials found no significant advantage and study bias was high or uncertain. That dated review does not cover every later study; evidence for hypnosis should not be presented as evidence for NLP.
Selected sources reviewed October 2026. These educational guides complement a conversation about your preferences and suitability; they are not medical or mental health advice.
You don’t need to use every modality.
Your session begins with what feels right for you.

Read my storyCREATED FROM LIVED EXPERIENCE
My journey showed me that healing and a fuller life are possible.
Divine Somatic Frequency grew from my own search for relief, connection and a way forward.
Nearly 20 years of chronic illness and pain left me spending much of my life in bed, in pain, depressed and hopeless. The life I dreamed of felt far away.
Over the years, I received more diagnoses than I could easily keep track of. Among them were lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s disease, a pituitary tumor, a spinal syrinx extending from C7 to the conus and fibromyalgia.
Working in the traditional medical field shaped the questions I began asking and deepened my sense that something important was being overlooked. I didn’t see this as intentional; I felt that some parts of my experience were outside the focus of the care I was receiving. I wanted to understand my experience as a whole person: my physical symptoms, my emotional life, the beliefs I carried and my sense of connection to myself.
I found myself drawn to crystals, sound, vibration and energy practices. What began as curiosity became a calling. These explorations became part of a wider personal journey of listening to myself and reconnecting with who I was.
During this journey, I tried something very unconventional: I chose to use crystals, energy and intention with the hope of getting rid of my pituitary tumor, while continuing medical care. Three years later, follow-up scans showed that the tumor was no longer visible. My autoimmune conditions later entered clinical remission. These medical changes occurred alongside ongoing medical care.
Alongside medical care, I felt there was a part of the journey I needed to do for myself. I began making space for emotions and needs I had pushed aside while simply trying to get through each day. Changing how I viewed and responded to my circumstances helped me find possibility again. Slowly, I began to live again. Truly live. I started creating a life I had only dreamed of years before.
People who meet me today often can’t believe how sick I once was. People who knew me then tell me I seem like a different person.
That journey became the foundation of my signature sessions. Divine Somatic Frequency weaves together somatic bodywork, sound, frequency, vibration and energy with an intention to meet you as a whole person. Each session is guided by intuition, shaped by your needs and grounded in respect for your comfort and choices.
Today, I hold space for others on their path back to themselves. My goal is to help you explore the patterns and beliefs that may no longer serve you, reconnect with what matters to you and take steps toward the life you envision. To me, this work is an invitation to remember your wholeness and return to your own sense of possibility.
My story reflects my personal experience. Every journey is different and my experience does not predict anyone else’s outcome. Sessions offer complementary wellness support alongside appropriate medical and mental health care.
